Lavaman Hump
These images are of one of the worlds most beautiful races, the Lavaman Triathlon Waikoloa on the Big Island of Hawaii, finishing between swaying coconut trees to on shore breezes on the sunny sandy beach at Anaeho’omalu Bay in front of the legendary Waikoloa Beach Marriott.
The Ono Grinds (best lunch) are provided non stop by the Hilton Waikoloa Village catering staff who blaze the heat to serve everyone.
After finishing we all head to the Lava Lava Beach Club for live rock & Hawaiian music, awards and the best beach party in sports.
I am forever grateful for the extreme pride our Hawaiiphotoman team takes in producing the best images possible for our triathletes and their families.
When asked why we do it, competing with 4 thousand iPhones? I quickly share an email from the best friend of a Team in Training triathlete.
