Moon

Aloha Hump Day,

My first big eclipse came in 1991 when I was invited to join the visiting scientist from the Honolulu Bishop museum to witness the epic event a at private location; the Waikoloa Stables. It was picked by meteorologist as the most likely clearest spot to view the event in all of Hawaii.
Well we boarded limo buses in the dark to get to our spot only to find it totally clouded over, no great show. The folks at Kona Magic Sands had the best seat on the rock.
Here is the view of two moons, one the new moon of the year of the horse, it became visible from the west and the red lunar eclipse came from the east, both shot from our driveway.

Aloha Hump Day,

The Baldwins
